It’s (finally) spring!

Well, the skies cleared, the willows put forth tentative shoots, and the Cam filled with punts today as the temperatures broke double-digits for the first time in months.  People sat out in the sun; the Pimms flowed for the first time this season.

And if you look closely, you can see the porter from Queens chiding the undergrad attempting the climb the base of the Mathematical Bridge.

Hi, Stu, Nope, it's rainy (snowy) Cambridge - I was in for meetings and it was frigid all week (for the record, my parents report a foot of snow in Colorado too).

Finally, at the weekend, we got one nice day before going back to the cold again. Apparently it paralleled the one warm day in Maastricht as well.

It's amazing how warm 10 degrees can feel...

best, Dave (in Jacksonville FL today, where it's warm and sunny all the time :) )
